Party/Buli

Saturday was party-time in our house. We celebrated the boys' birthdays with family, friends, cake, and of course gifts. A great time was had by all! :)
Szombaton nagy buli volt nálunk. Megünnepeltük a fiúk szülinapját családdal, barátokkal, tortával, és természetesen ajándékokkal. Mindenki nagyon jól érezte magát!

Here is Oliver's gift. He loves his bicycle and is working hard on getting rid of those training wheels!
Hmm, I think I like this stuff! Benjamin is eating his cake that Daddo made for him!!! What a husband and dad, I am spoiled!!! :)
Hmm, fincsi ez a kaja! Benjámin szülinapi tortáját az apukája készítette el!!! Micsoda férj és apa, el vagyok kényeztetve!!! :)
Here are all the kids on Oliver's bed.
Imhol az összes gyerek Olivér ágyán.
Finally, a family portrait.

Izgatottan várjuk a következőket! Az Úr kísérje minden léptedet!!!
Szeretünk!
Daddo, Mama, Olivér

Happy birthday, our little cutie!!! We can't believe a year has passed since your birth. We are excited about the many years to come yet! May the Lord direct each of your steps!!!
We love you!
Daddo, Mama, Oliver

Motorcycles/Motorozás

Today is a rainy day, so the boys decided to put on their matching raincoats (Thanks, Melanie! :) and go for a ride on their motorcycles. It's true that Benjamin can't even walk yet and can't really sit on the motorcycle for more than a few seconds without support, but they had fun anyway! :) I think the day is coming soon when they are going to be speeding around together on their bikes!

:) Szerintem nemsokára tényleg együtt fognak száguldozni a bicóikon!

Naptime/Szunyálás

Here is a picture of "my boys". Matthew was getting ready to put the boys down for a nap. It looks like, though, that Daddo is going to fall asleep first! :)

Oliver the Builder

During our morning walk we noticed that the sidewalk was being repaved in a street near our house (it would have been hard not to notice because of the incredible noise :). Both boys were very impressed by seeing all the machines. One of the workers said that if we go back during their lunch break, Oliver can check out the machines from up close. Of course we did, and here is Oliver "operating" a bobcat!

Mindkét fiút lenyűgözte a sok munkagép látványa. :)

Hey, brother, hold on, I want to get on too! :)
Várj, tesó, én is fel akarok szállni! :)

Oliver tried a new thing recently: horseback-riding! One of our friends, Noémi, works on a horse farm in the summer and she invited us to visit her. First Oliver could not believe it that he was going to sit on a real horse, but he liked it immediately! Benjamin also had fun watching the horses and other farm animals.

Oliver is almost four and is an independent little guy. In the morning he gets dressed by himself, which sometimes results in an outfit like the one in the picture. :) I think it's quite fashionable?!

Climbing Wall

Here's Oliver at the playground. His second attempt at this wall was without flaw or help. I was impressed.

Happy Birthday Melinda!

Szeretlek Drágám! ~matt

Balaton

Like last year, we were blessed to have a lake cottage at our disposal for a week. Lake Balaton is an enormous lake (the largest in Europe, I think) perfect for families to enjoy the water and sun. Here are a few pics from the week:

Oliver dancing in the sun

Benjamin hanging out with the wildlife.

Besides swimming, we rode our bikes,

played in the playground,

and I'm still not sure what else.

We did have a surprise on Friday. We were able to see the Budapest Gospel Choir in concert in the neighboring village as apart of their "village days." It was great to see them perform outside with lots of people watching. It was especially fun for Oliver who got to bang on the drums a little after the show. Thanks Marci!

After Balaton, we did spend 5 days with Melinda's family in another resort village. But you'll have to wait until we get some pictures from Péter, Melinda's brother, because we didn't take any!

We are home now, but just for enough time to wash our clothes. We will be off again on Monday to our church's family conference in a village called Vajta. We'll be back on Aug 11.

Blessings! ~matthew
