Let's say you lived in Tatabánya, Hungary and wanted to surprise both grandmas for Mother's Day. You had your kids draw nice pictures and got two great photos and put all this in two envelopes. One addressed to Grandma Julia in Budapest, Hungary and the other to Grandma Carol in Indiana, USA.
Question: which one do you think would arrive first???
Yes, you are right if you said that Grandma Carol would be the first one to rejoice over the little surprise! She actually got her letter two days ahead of Grandma Julia! True, May 1 and 2 were holidays here, but still...anyway, the postal system always has surprises in store for you!!! :)
PS: We still do love to send and receive "snail mail". It's wonderful to have e-mail but nothing compares to a personal handwritten note, card or photo! :)
Mondjuk, hogy Tatabányán laksz és szeretnéd meglepni mindkét nagymamát anyák napja alkalmából. Ezért a gyerekkel rajzoltatsz egy pár képet, kerítesz két klassz fotót és mindezt berakod két borítékba. Az egyik Juli nagyinak megy Budapestre, a másik pedig Grandma Carolnak Amerikába.
Kérdés: melyikőjük fogja megkapni először a küldeményt???
Így van, jól gondolod, ha arra tippeltél, hogy az amerikai nagyi fog először örvendezni a meglepinek! Ő ugyanis két nappal korábban kapta meg a levélkéjét mint magyar nagymamatársa. OK, hogy május 1. és 2. itt ünnep volt, nade akkor is! Szóval a posta még mindig tartogat meglepetéseket számunkra...
UI: Mi még mindig szeretjük a hagyományos postázást! Klassz az e-mail, de semmi nem hasonlítható egy személyes, kézzel írt levélhez, laphoz vagy fotóhoz! :)
