In Hungary the weather has been pretty rough these last few days. Rain has been coming down continuously. Fierce winds blow. It is cold. Towns have been flooded and cut off from the rest of the world.
I got our boots out again after I finally put our winter gear into storage, thinking that that particular season was over! (However, on my way of walking to the pre-school, I was thinking I should have unpacked the scarves and gloves too!) We turned the heat back on. We had the wind rip a few of our umbrellas. But the worst came today.
Our basement flooded. And in it, the studio.
Visszakapcsoltuk a fűtést.
A pincénket elöntötte a víz. És benne a stúdiót.
(OK, I know that you can't tell in the picture that the room is flooded, but you have to believe me, the room is (was) flooded! :)
Thankfully, the rescue squad was on its way in no time!
Hála Istennek a mentőosztag hamar a helyszínre sietett!

Blooooie! I'm sorry to hear about this. Lot's of flooding in Franklin and Nashville also.
Sounds like all the leftover Nashville rain when to Hungary. So what's the damage? Any instruments get wet?
It's either water or you've perfectly waxed the floor. You can even see the reflection of the shopping bag!
I hope the damage is not too bad! Hugs!
Thanks for the update today. Sorry to hear about these troubles. Who would have thought??
Maybe nothing on the floor is better. Just keep the fans going so that you don't get a mold problem. I see that you are expecting more rain tomorrow and the next day. Hope the clouds blow past Tatabanya.
No instrument damage. I'm glad my 12 string was upstairs.
There should NOT have been left over rain from Nashville.
Peti, it's water, trust me!
We saw some blue skies today! Yipee!
