Yes, we are still alive and well! I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year's. We loved our time with family: played a lot and of course ate a lot! :) Since then, life is in full swing: we are running errands, meeting people, talking to the adults and the kids in our church, Matthew's leading worship, teaching, etc. The kids are well, and although we all had some persistent respitory ailments, we are all relatively healthy now. The weather is very wintery these days: we have a lot of snow and the temperatures are starting to drop again. Right now, at night, it's -9 F, but we are glad we don't live in Minnesota, where Matthew used to live, as it is a chilly -45 F with windchill.
Sógornőm, Jen, kislányával, Ellával, és Benjáminnal ("Gyerünk, Melinda, gyorsan fényképezz, mert leszakad a karom!" - hozzá kell tennem, főleg a bal! :)
My sister-in-law, Jen, with her daughter, Ella, and Benjamin ("Come on, Melinda, take that picture quickly, my arms are giving up!" - mainly the left one, I have to add! :)
One of the exciting moments of country life: burning trash with Grandpa
One of Oliver's favorite activities: launching rockets with Uncle Brent
By popular request a Hungarian dinner: chicken paprika with dumplings
Látogatásunk egyik fénypontja: Matt egy kávézóban zenélt, ahova meghívtuk a barátainkatOne of the highlights of our trip: Matthew played in a coffee shop, where we invited friends
The youngest member of the audience: a five-day-old baby (didn't show much interest in the music :)
