November

The first significant event in November was Matthew's birthday, which was celebrated with the traditional German chocolate cake.

Then we had a quiet Thanksgiving celebration. Quiet, because nobody celebrates it "over here". But we love to think about the many things we can thank God for and of course eat yummy food like this!
(előtte azért a sütőben megsütöttem)
The turkey didn't fit into the crock pot, though it was only a leg! (I did bake it in the oven first)
Itt a desszert kínálat: egy Hálaadás ebéd eklképzelhetetlen pite nélkül! (és csokis süti nélkül)
Here is the dessert spread: no Thanksgiving is complete without pie! (and chocolate chip cookies)

And now that the food part of the entry is over, two more events! As you may know already, we always like to host people at our house. It was a special time that our friends visited us with their one-month-old baby! Our kids loved the baby's company - and Miriam looked like a giant next to her!
Finally, no November can be complete without the St. Martin candle-walk at the pre-school!

Great pictures -- we don't get tired of seeing them :) Love the "over-grown" turkey leg in the crock pot, even tho I know you did not cook it in there. Funny picture.
