What a weekend! - Micsoda hétvége!

Wow, we had an interesting weekend. Matthew was going up to Budapest for a worship conference and I and the kids went to my parents to help them with their upcoming move. Friday being a national holiday, we left on Thursday. Praise the Lord, we made it to Budapest, but the weather was so bad that many roads got snowed in and people were stuck in their cars for several hours even on the main highways. We were going to come home on Saturday, but were turned back by the police, as the highway and another main road was still closed because of abandoned cars and ice, respectively. So Matthew came home by train and I and the kids stayed for another night.

Hú, hát érdekes hétvégénk volt. Matt Budapestre ment egy dicsőítő konferenciára, én a gyerekekkel pedig a szüleim felé vettük az irányt pakolni, mert hamarosan költöznek. Csütörtökön indultunk és hála az Úrnak, megérkeztünk Budapestre, de mint tudjátok, sokan a hó fogságában maradtak órákig az autópályán is. Szombaton jöttünk volna haza, de a rendőrök visszafordítottak minket: az M1-es az otthagyott járművek miatt, az 1-es út a jég miatt volt lezárva. Így Matt vonattal jött haza, én a gyerekekkel pedig maradtam még egy éjszakát.
