I would like to announce that for the first time in my life I will have glasses! It's a family joke that because my dad is short-sighted and my mom is far-sighted, my brother and I have perfect eye-sight! This was true until a few months ago, when I noticed that my eyes were just not what they used to be. So I went for a check-up and indeed, I got a prescription for a pair of glasses! This is it. I am going downhill from now on. In a few years I'll be ready for crutches and a walker! :)

I asked Oliver to help me choose an illustration for this post, and he picked this picture:
Tudom, mostanában sokat változtam, nem? :)
I know; I changed quite a bit recently, haven't I? :)

Annyira szeretem, mikor egy kis bepillantást nyerek a gondolataiba!

Talking about eye-sight, Oliver had a good line yesterday. We were walking hand in hand on the street (which I love but can rarely do because big boy is speeding on his bike) when, out of the blue, he asked: "Mama, do blind people close their eyes when they sleep? Since for them it's already dark with their eyes open..." Well, Oliver, good question, but I don't know, I've never seen a blind person sleep! :)

I love it when I can have little insights into his thoughts!

You look gorgeous, Melinda! Although, those glasses seem to age you a bit......Aaron says you need glasses to look more professorial!

Oliver, thats a good question. Always thinking!

Can't wait to see them on you soon!

Oliver did have a good question. I hope he is always thinking deeply :) I agree with A&J, the glasses will add to the "professor" attire. Are your glasses for far or near?

Yeah, I am sure I will look great! :) I don't have to wear them all the time though. I think they are for near. Plus 1. M.
